For more than 15 years, Russell has been leading teams through the technical planning, development, and deployment of interactive digital media projects. He uses his extensive experience to deliver services that satisfy the needs of both the client and end-users by ensuring that the technical requirements are fulfilled and the business objectives are supported. In all aspects of his work, whether developing software, designing databases, or configuring servers, Russell is focused on providing solutions that are efficient, reliable, and maintainable.

Career highlights include: Southam's InfoLab where he specialized in building and fostering virtual communities, developed award-winning CD-ROMs "True North Arrivals" and "Understanding McLuhan", and guided the transition of the communications conglomerate into the new media industry; ExtendMedia where he was a premier Technical Lead on many large-scale, mission-critical projects; and Kaboose where, as Technical Director, he helped to grow the company from a small services shop to one of the world's largest family-focused online media companies.

Russell has also done project work for such clients as Bell Canada, Bank of Montreal, CIBC, Deloitte, Aegon, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, McDonalds, Nike, Athletes World, and the National Basketball Association (NBA).
